Our Father’s House, is more than a pre-school.\u00a0 Part of it’s curriculum is to demonstrate Christian love.\u00a0 In church-speak, we call that “Missions Projects,” but whether it collections for the Heiffer International, Pitman Food Pantry, or UNICEF, our preschool is always involved in helping others.\u00a0 Each month they sponsor a “Mission’s Project.”\u00a0 This month, they’re collecting coats for needy families.
\n<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

It’s hard for most of us to imagine having to survive the cold winter without a warm coat.\u00a0 And yet, many people lack such a basic necessity.\"\"\u00a0 At the same time, many of us have closets filled with clothing (such as coats) that we never wear anymore.\u00a0 It’s too bad that they can’t be put to a better use… or can they?<\/p>\n

During the month of January, Our Father’s House will collect “gently used” coats.\u00a0 They’ve placed a large orange box in the Narthex, and the collected coats will be donated to the People for People Foundation.\u00a0 The coats will be donated to needy people throughout Gloucester County.<\/p>\n

Donations will be accepted at PUMC until Sunday January 26.<\/span><\/p>\n

Note: During the week the bin is located on the first floor of the Educational wing (near the Our Father’s House rooms. On Sunday, it is moved to the Narthex <\/span><\/p>\n
