The American Red Cross’s supply of blood dwindles during the summer as donors engage in vacation and other summer activities.\u00a0 But the need never decreases.<\/p>\n

To help maintain critical levels of blood during the \"\"summer, we will again host the Red Cross’s Summer Blood Drive. \u00a0 It will be held in our fellowship hall on Friday August 2 (from 2:00 until 7:00 PM).<\/p>\n

To participate, schedule an appointment as shown below.\u00a0 Walk-ins are welcome! But to avoid a possible delay, appointments are recommended.<\/p>\n

When you click on the Pitman United Methodist Church drive under Friday August 2, you’ll see the available 15 minute time slots.\u00a0 Select an available slot and click the appropriate button.\u00a0 If you schedule a slot that’s on the hour, you can give “Power Red” (your donation is limited to red cells only).\u00a0 Click the links on the schedule window for an explanation of the differences between a “blood” donation and a “power red” donation.”<\/p>\n
