Our preschool, Our Father’s House, is a busy place!\u00a0 Not only are we learning “the three Rs”, we’re also learning God’s love and how to share that love with the community.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Here’s a taste of what Our Fathers House is up to…<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

January…\"\"<\/span><\/h4>\n

We collected over 150 cans of soup and other canned goods and donated them to the Pitman Food Pantry.\u00a0 A timely gift, considering the recent government shutdown.\u00a0\u00a0 We continue to collect donations of\u00a0 boxes of cereal, jars of peanut butter, or any canned goods on our table in the hallway.\u00a0 The local food pantry is always very grateful for any supplies that we are able to donate to them.\u00a0<\/p>\n

February…\"\"<\/span><\/h4>\n

During the month of February, we have been busy making Valentine Cards to share with the residents of Pitman\u00a0Manor<\/span><\/a> (“United Methodist Communities at Pitman”).\u00a0 These cards were delivered to the Manor the day before Valantine’s Day, and the residents really appreciated them.<\/p>\n

March…<\/span><\/h4>\n

3\/20- Manor Visit<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Our 4 year olds will visit the Manor and present a program of song on the morning of Wednesday, March 20th.\u00a0 After the program they will fan out into the audience and hand out the “Spring” (Easter) cards that we’ve been making.<\/p>\n

3\/26- Scholarship Fundraiser<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 On Tuesday March 26, we will hold a “Spirit Night” fundraiser at the Chick-Fil-A in Mantua<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0 Join us at anytime between 5-8 PM, and part of your purchase will be donated to our scholarship fund.<\/p>\n
