\"Choir<\/a>The choirs and praise team will lead both services on June 22.\u00a0 Using music, narration, and the Word, the choirs will lead us through a journey celebrating our church’s heritage and history.<\/p>\n

But more than a look into the past, we will celebrate how God has always been faithful to us.\u00a0 As written in the letter to the Hebrews, we are surrounded by a “great cloud of witnesses.”<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As we enter this transition period between pastors, we will look to the past so we can be better prepared to move into the future.\u00a0 Whether you have been part of our church for 6 decades or for 6 weeks, we have all been called to this church.\u00a0 This is our time, and we can move forward in faith because God has always been faithful ….<\/p>\n

He’s Always Been Faithful<\/span><\/h2>\n

Faithful in Character…<\/span><\/h3>\n

The book of Psalms fills us with inspiration and teaching of praise in worship;\u00a0 God changes not, and He is always worthy of our praise and worship…<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t

“Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.” <\/span><\/p>\n

“Sing to the Lord a new song,\u00a0 for He has done marvelous things.\u00a0 Shout for\u00a0 joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Faithful in Presence…
\n<\/span><\/h3>\n

God has always been faithful in His provision of buildings, leaders, and other resources.\u00a0 Our roots trace to the early days of the Pitman Camp meeting and extend into our current home and the torch that has been passed to us.<\/p>\n

For over 125 years, God has called us to know Him, to grow in faith together, and go to serve that others may know Him as Lord and Savior. Through all times of transition, God has been faithful. Solomon marked a time of transition when the temple was completed…<\/p>\n

“But will God really dwell on earth with Men?\u00a0 The heavens, even the highest heavens cannot contain You.\u00a0 How much less this temple I have built.\u00a0 May Your eyes be open toward this temple day and night, may You hear the prayer Your servant prays towards this place.\u00a0 Hear us from heaven and forgive.”<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>\n

\u00a0Faithful in Hope…<\/span><\/h3>\n

As we go forward into the future with a new pastor, new leaders, new ideas, new energy, we remember that God is already ahead of us and remains our true Vision.\u00a0 The music we sing during this service was written in the past by great witnesses of faith.\u00a0 But these witnesses called us to go forward to answer God’s call.\u00a0 Just as God empowered His saints in the past, He reminds us that He will lead us into the future.<\/p>\n

Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel, “Be strong and courageous, for you must go with this people into the land that the Lord swore to their forefathers to give them, and you must divide it among them as their inheritance. <\/span><\/p>\n
