<\/p>\nOn Friday January 25, the Red Cross will hold a Blood Drive in our Fellowship Hall from 2:00-7:00 PM. <\/p>\n
Walk-ins are welcome, but you can visit the American Red Cross website to schedule a time.\u00a0 We’ve set a goal to have at least 60 donors.<\/p>\n
(Scroll down for the link and instructions)…<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The donation changes throughout the day, so please check their schedule to confirm eligibility. During some hours they will collect “blood”. \nThe most common type of donation, during which approximately a pint of ‘whole blood’ is given. This type of blood donation usually takes about an hour. <\/span><\/li>\n
\nA Power Red donation collects the red cells but returns most of the plasma and platelets to the donor. These donors must meet specific eligibility requirements and have type A Neg, B Neg, or O blood.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
