Jesus’ response to the trap was brilliant:”Whose image is on that coin?\u00a0 Then give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, but give to God what belongs to God.” The answer blew away the questioners.\u00a0 Jesus totally defused their trap.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

But what does this statement mean?\u00a0 What is “Caesar” in our own day and age?\u00a0 Is Caesar a good thing?\u00a0 Everything belongs to God; so what does it mean to “give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar.”?\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
