(10\/29\/16)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We opened our church for our annual Trunk or Treat on Saturday 10\/29\/16, and an estimated crowd of 900 people visited our parking lot and Fellowship Hall.\u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-12583\" src=\"https:\/\/pitmanumc.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/TrunkTreat16-banner-_IMG_3779-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"trunktreat16-banner-_img_3779\" width=\"183\" height=\"137\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pitmanumc.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/TrunkTreat16-banner-_IMG_3779-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/pitmanumc.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/TrunkTreat16-banner-_IMG_3779.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 183px) 100vw, 183px\" \/>Guests could wander through the parking lot to view a variety of decorated trunks, jump in our bouncy house, or just to wander around our grounds on a clear evening.\u00a0 Families then headed inside the Fellowship Hall to bob for donuts, bowl, eat, or just to mingle with other kids and families.<\/p>\n<p>Not only was a great opportunity for some family fun, it was a chance for our church to reach out and serve our community.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Trunks&#8230;<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Most guest began their visit by checking out the decorated trunks that were lined up along our parking lot.\u00a0 Visitors had the chance to vote for their favorite &#8220;trunk&#8221;, and pick up some candy from each &#8220;trunker&#8221; as they made their trek around the parking trunks, visitors stepped inside to try some of the games in our Fellowship Hall.\u00a0\u00a0 And of course (being good Methodists!), food was always available!<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a taste of the +\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 +<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Trunk or Treat was organized by our Christian Education team (with the support of many PUMC members).\u00a0 In additon to our Sunday
