Some groups lasted several years, and some ended after their courses of study were completed.<\/p>\n<p>Small groups are part of God\u2019s plan for spiritual maturity!<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201c<strong><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Two are better than one\u2026. If they fall, one will lift up the other\u2026<\/span><\/em><\/strong>\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ecclesiastes 4: 9-12<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201c<strong><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them<\/span><\/em><\/strong>.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Matthew 18:20<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The book of Acts shows a shift from the pattern of traditional Jewish worship to the development of \u201chouse churches\u201d based on communal sharing and fellowship.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Building on God&#8217;s Development Plan&#8230;<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>This fall, we are offering an opportunity for everyone, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey, to deepen your commitment to Christ and our church.<\/p>\n<p>Our Fall 2016 session of Small Groups is about to begin.\u00a0 We&#8217;re planning a series of three &#8220;sessions&#8221; of Small Group classes, and each session will last for 6
