{"id":1167,"date":"2014-04-07T22:50:36","date_gmt":"2014-04-08T02:50:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pitmanumc.org\/wp\/?p=1167"},"modified":"2014-05-08T16:12:30","modified_gmt":"2014-05-08T20:12:30","slug":"choirs-to-lead-palm-sunday-service-41314","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pitmanumc.org\/wp\/?p=1167","title":{"rendered":"Palm Sunday Cantata: &#8220;Grace- Past, Present, and Future&#8221; (4\/13\/14)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Grace&#8230;<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On Palm Sunday morning (April 13),the members of the music program\u00a0 will present a Sunday worship service filled with grace!\u00a0 This Lenten Season,\u00a0 our church family has been reading through the devotional, &#8220;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a title=\"Forty Days of Fruitful Living Sermons &amp; Studies (3\/9\/14)\" href=\"https:\/\/pitmanumc.org\/wp\/?p=990\"><span style=\"color: #000080; text-decoration: underline;\">Forty Days of Fruitful Living: Practicing a Life of Grace.<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span>&#8220;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On Palm Sunday, as we gather together to worship, we will celebrate the grace that is ours in Jesus Christ.\u00a0 By His death and resurrection, we are free to live a life of grace.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class='et-box et-shadow'>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class='et-box-content'><ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Grace- God becomes human and enters Jerusalem to die for our sins. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Grace- An undeserved gift from God.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Grace-Empowers our lives breath by breath.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We praise Him for the grace given to us through His sacrifice on the cross, the daily grace that we walk in as we &#8220;live a life of grace&#8221; and the future grace that is ours as we look forward to living eternally with Him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class='et-box et-info'>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class='et-box-content'><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Eph 2:8-10&#8230; <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith \u2014 and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God\u2014 not by works, so that no one can boast.
