{"id":11064,"date":"2016-05-01T14:36:14","date_gmt":"2016-05-01T18:36:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pitmanumc.org\/wp\/?p=11064"},"modified":"2016-05-09T08:39:53","modified_gmt":"2016-05-09T12:39:53","slug":"pumc-to-join-with-local-churches-for-a-community-bash-5716","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pitmanumc.org\/wp\/?p=11064","title":{"rendered":"PUMC to Join with Local Churches for a Community BASH (5\/7\/16)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Are you ready for a big <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">BASH<\/span><\/strong>?\u00a0 Bash???\u00a0 It stands for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">B<\/span><\/span><\/strong>elieving <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-11236 \" src=\"https:\/\/pitmanumc.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/CommunityBash16-Poster-_400x520.jpg\" alt=\"CommunityBash16 - Poster _400x520\" width=\"238\" height=\"366\" \/><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-size: 14pt;\">A<\/span><\/strong>cting<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">S<\/span><\/strong><\/span>haring<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">H<\/span><\/strong><\/span>elping<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our church (and the<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gnjumc.org\/district\/delaware-bay\/\" target=\"_blank\">Delaware Bay District<\/a><\/span> that we belong to) is seeking to move Gospel out of the church building, engage with the community and make a difference in the lives of individuals.\u00a0 God&#8217;s not contained in &#8220;God&#8217;s House&#8221; (as we call the church), and we don&#8217;t want to always hang out inside of our buildings either.<\/p>\n<p>So we&#8217;re having a &#8220;BASH&#8221; and stepping out!\u00a0 This BASH will be held on Saturday May 7 at the First United Methodist Church in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/glassboromethodist.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Glassboro<\/a> <\/span>(<em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">well&#8230; actually on &#8220;the grounds&#8221; of FUMC <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"http:\/\/glassboromethodist.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Glassboro<\/a><\/span>!<\/span><\/em>).\u00a0 The Trinity United Methodist Church of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/discover-trinity.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Clayton<\/a><\/span> is also participating in this event.<\/p>\n<p>Our BASH will involve a lot of cool stuff (how could it be a BASH if it&#8217;s not &#8220;cool stuff&#8221;????)&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\t\t<div class='et-simple-slider et_sliderfx_slide et_sliderauto_true et_sliderauto_speed_4000 et_slidertype_simple'>\n\t\t\t<div class='et-simple-slides'>\n\t\t\t\t<div class='et-tabs-content-wrapper'>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class='et_slidecontent'>\n\t\t\tChristian Comedian Job Mixson&#8230;\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<div class='et_slidecontent'>\n\t\t\tPony Rides&#8230;\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<div class='et_slidecontent'>\n\t\t\tGlassboro Fire Department (Trucks n Stuff)&#8230;\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<div class='et_slidecontent'>\n\t\t\tFree giveaways&#8230;\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<div class='et_slidecontent'>\n\t\t\tFamily Resources&#8230;\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<div class='et_slidecontent'>\n\t\t\tFree Photo Booth (Mom&#8217;s Day family pic?)&#8230;\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<div class='et_slidecontent'>\n\t\t\tFace Painting&#8230;\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<div class='et_slidecontent'>\n\t\t\tGames&#8230;\n\t\t<\/div>\u00a0\n\t\t<div class='et_slidecontent'>\n\t\t\tFree Baby Supplies&#8230;\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div> <!-- .et-simple-slider -->\n\t\t\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And:\u00a0 <span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">FOOD<\/span><\/strong>!<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (<em><span style=\"color: #800080;\">We Methodists do love to eat, afterall!<\/span><\/em>)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class='et-box et-info'>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class='et-box-content'><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Going through a rough time?
