\"Parking
\nSnowed out!!!\u00a0 After getting pounded for the past 36 hours, our roads, parking lots, and sidewalks are covered with snow.\u00a0 Moving about and navigating our sidewalks would be unsafe, so we took the unprecedented (?) step of cancelling our Sunday Morning Activities.<\/p>\n

So today is a day to dig out and clean up.\u00a0 But aren’t you missing going to church?\u00a0 For those who wouldn’t think of excluding Morning Worship from their Sunday routine, this morning feels kinda weird!\u00a0 Maybe even a bit empty.<\/p>\n

So as you rest up after shoveling your sidewalk (or as you consider excuses for not getting outside)… here’s a taste of what we would have enjoyed had the weather be a bit more hospitable and a bit lest hostile…<\/p>\n

Dinner and Program at PUMC to benefit the <\/strong>Camden<\/strong> Neighborhood<\/strong> Center<\/strong>.<\/strong> The evening, 6-10 PM on Saturday, February 20th<\/sup>, will feature a silent auction, food donations from over 25 local restaurants and entertainment from professional dancers, Rowan performing arts, Glassboro Hi Italian Club & some of our communities\u2019 very own vocalists!!! Get your $15 tickets by contacting Mary Boltz. Monetary donations for the Center are also welcomed!!<\/p>\n

You\u2019re invited <\/strong>to the Annual Service of Exaltation and Dedication<\/strong> of the American Guild of Organists, SouthWest Jersey Chapter. The service, which will take place this afternoon at 4 PM at First UMC Glassboro, will include anthems by Glassboro FUMC\u2019s Chancel Choir, several congregational hymns, and a performance by two members of the Philadelphia Orchestra.<\/p>\n

A Celebration Luncheon is planned for Sunday, January 31st<\/sup> following the <\/strong>10:15 AM<\/strong> worship service. Bring a covered dish to share; beverages will be provided by PUMC.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Helping Others with \u201cTootsies & Tushies\u201d – <\/strong>The Youth Advisory Council (Youth Voice) of the Kids Caring Foundation will be collecting new socks and underwear of all sizes until February 14th<\/sup>. These items are necessities but are often overlooked. We will be packaging these items with the charity Cradles to Crayons<\/em> and distributing them to those in need in Philadelphia and through Angels of God Clothing Closet. There will be a box for the new, unopened-packaged donations in the Narthex. Wawa Shortie Hoagie Coupons are back!<\/strong> Each coupon is $5 and can be exchanged at any Wawa for a shortie hoagie. There is no expiration date. Profits support the La Palmilla Building Fund. What is the Tuesday Series? – <\/strong>Each Tuesday, the 9:30 AM Community Women\u2019s Class meets for Bible Study in Potter\u2019s Hand. Later, at 7:00 PM, there are classes for all ages. A Fellowship Dinner begins at 6:00 PM. There is a fee of $8 for dinner, and arrangements are made by the families to provide a free dinner of hot dogs for young children. Pre-registration is requested on the sign-up sheet in the Narthex as a minimum of 25 people are needed.<\/strong><\/p>\n
