The Third and Fourth graders in our Sunday School are practicing to be the “Hands” and “Feet” of Jesus by making a \"3-4chain recording their good deeds.<\/p>\n

We’re hoping that by the end of the year, our chain will reach around the room!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Standing in the Gap<\/span><\/h3>\n

As we saw in a recent sermon<\/a><\/span>, Ezekiel 22:30-31 uses the image of someone “Standing in the Gap” between God’s love and humanity’s sinfulness.\u00a0 God is calling us to be “priests”; to bring God’s love and grace to those who do not know Him.<\/p>\n

And that’s exactly what our kids are doing!<\/p>\n

By learning to “stand in the gap”, our kids are living out Galatians 6:9-10…<\/p>\n

\n

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.\u00a0 <\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.<\/span> <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Doing it for Jesus<\/span><\/h3>\n

The class has been studying Matthew 25:35-36…<\/p>\n

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,\u00a0 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’<\/span> <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And they’ve been actively putting this into action.\u00a0 Here are a few examples of what they’ve been doing recently…<\/p>\n
