Kids Alley- Camden, NJ

Located at St Mary’s Episcopal Church in Haddon Heights, N.J., Kid’s Alley is a refuge for children in Camden, one of the poorest and most violent cities in America.

Director Vivian Tan has had 24 years of experience in children’s ministry; and has developed a unique and creative approach to inner city and community outreach. Vivian and the staff of Kid’s Alley embrace the children with the love of God.

After School at the Learning Center…

There are currently 32 students, K-6th grade in the Kid’s Alley Learning Center where there is a homework lab with tutoring by certified teachers, technology, arts and crafts, physical and nutritional enrichment, educational fun-filled activities, creative arts, and Bible studies and devotions. Homework assistance is the #1 priority. The staff has seen improvement in every student, which then empowers the children and encourages their parents and siblings.

Kid’s Alley also has weekend and summer programs. All of the Kid’s Alley programs are diverse and designed to build community by helping families and children achieve self-sufficiency.Each year Kid’s Alley delivers asset development, education, character building, and support to at-risk children and their families.
