III        REPAYMENT

  1. All loans approved by the Committee will be evidenced by the signing of a Promissory Note. Payment will be required strictly according to the terms of the Note.
  2. No interest will be charged on any loan provided that the applicant makes timely payments. If the applicant fails to make any one payment within 180 days of its due date, the applicant will be in default on the loan and must immediately pay the full balance due and owing on the loan including interest. If an applicant experiences financial circumstances which prevent the applicant from timely making payments on the loan, it is the obligation of the applicant to notify the Student Loan Fund Committee in writing of the applicant’s financial circumstances and to request a revised payment schedule. The Student Loan Fund Committee will gladly cooperate with an applicant in revising a payment schedule based upon the applicant’s financial circumstances.
