In these opening months of 2014 before we enter the Lenten season, we have been taking a journey using the Scott Jones book: “The Wesleyan Way: A Faith that matters“. The journey takes place on two roads.
First, we consider a topic from the book during the Sunday morning service. The sermon series applies elements of our faith journey in the light of scripture, and challenges us to deliberately use the grace and resources that God provides in order to grow more into His likeness and truly “love the Lord our God with all our heart, souls, and minds.”
The second road is traveled in small groups. On Tuesday evenings, we view a video and then break into small groups to discuss the topic shared during the previous Sunday’s message.
