BLAST (“Big Loud Awesome Spiritual Time”), PUMC’s youth group, is kicking off this year on September 16, 2018. All youth going into grades 6 through 12 are invited to join our gatherings throughout the year!

In Pitman, the summer is surrounded by two big events which bookend the beginning and end of summer: The Fourth of July Parade, and the Highland Carnival (Fire Company) in September.  Now that the annual Labor Day Carnival is over, we will slowly move back into the fall season.

Throughout the year we’ll have many events during the week, but our main time together is Sunday nights.  Each Sunday (from 6-8PM in the church), we will meet for a time of games, food, Bible study, and fellowship.   We’ve got several Sundays all raring to go:

September 16

Youth Council at 5PM, followed by our first BLAST gathering (6-8PM).

September 23

We’re  going to Covenant Messiah Church to see Ryan Stevenson live in concert in Sewell, NJ.

Listen to his latest hits on KLove including, “Eye of the Storm,” “The Gospel,” and “No Matter What.”
We’ll leave from the church at 5:30PM, and return around 9:30 PM.

September 30

Our second BLAST gathering (6-8PM).

As we go through the year we’ll have a “Blast” with a lot of special events.  We’re already planning a Progressive “Friendsgiving” Dinner for November 18.

Stay tuned for additional special events!!!
