Praise Team to Add Harmony in the Park! (9/30/17)

The Washington Baptist Church (located in Washington Twp.) is organizing an event called “Harmony in the Park“, which will be held at the Washington Lake Park on Saturday September 30.   It pretty much runs all day (10 AM – 6 PM), with free food, games, and Christian music.   On one level, it’s an end of summer community party.  On a deeper level, it’s a chance to witness to the saving power of the Gospel of Christ.

The music begins at the main amphitheater at noon, and culminates with a concert by This Hope, at 4:00 PM.  Before the main concert, music will be provided by local Praise Bands.

And that’s where PUMC comes in: Our Praise Team has been invited to take part in the day’s music, and we will take the stage from 12:00 until 1:00 PM.

Throughout the rest of the day, there will be free hot dogs, inspirational encouragement, children’s activities (including a bounce house), and a K9 demonstration by the Washington Twp. Police.

The Washington Lake Park is located on the “corner” of Greentree and Hurffville-Cross Keys Roads in Washington Township (yeah- it’s actually a pretty big “corner”…).

This Hope is an accomplished vocal group which spreads it’s message of harmony and grace across the country.  Here’s a video of them singing the song, “This is Amazing Grace.”

you wrote Sept 10th in the article. Is it on the 30th. ?

Yes- you’re right: the concert IS Sept 30 (not 9/10). I corrected the boo-boo that was in the body of the article. Thanks for catching that!
Sorry for any confusion this might have caused.
